Cablevision: High Definition Encore and Starz On Demand added

HD Encore and Starz On Demand

High Definition Encore and Starz On Demand content will debut on Cablevision on April 24th, 2009.  The service will be available to all HD customers in the Cablevision footprint who,  subscribe to the respective On Demand service.

Select titles from Starz On Demand and Encore On Demand will be available in high definition format.  CableRant will post screen shows showing how to determine which content is in HD as soon as this new service is launched.

Will they finally include the on demand channels with the movie package you have or will we have to pay extra for this one too!

It is live on Long Island.  I see them on my OnDemand list now.

Got it.  Too bad, Encore and Starz usually have movies I have seen, since they were on HBO first.

Untrue.

Every time, I've looked at those channels, their movies were always at least 6 month older than the ones on HBO.
